About Andy
I was born and raised in San Jose, CA where I still live today. I can still remember as a kid how much I enjoyed writing stories and trying to figure out the most concise and clear way to convey information via the written word.
When I attended San Jose State University – where I graduated with a B.A. in English along with a minor in Creative Writing – I really started to study the nuts and bolts of writing. I learned why to not split (see what I did there?) my infinitives, how to identify run-on sentences, and the proper rules for using numerals versus spelling them out.
If the foundation of a solid home is created with steel bars ensconced in concrete, then the backbone of vibrant prose is laid with grammar and punctuation.
When I’m not hammering out content for my clients and my own blog, I can usually be found nursing iced mochas at my favorite coffee joint in Los Gatos. On weekends in the fall, I get a massive adrenaline rush from attending college football games. I’m also a firm believer that you’re never too old for Disneyland.
